Nicholas Grey
Having recently completed a degree in animation, Nick is currently working as a designer.
His personal art has always been based in the gloomy and surreal, working in a painterly style within a digital medium. Working digitally allows him to more finely balance the attractive and repulsive elements which are often found in his work. Nicks paintings are darkly toned in nature and aim to be both challenging and emotive.
16.4.1 is a mixed media exhibition by 16 artists engaged in a situation specific collective at PLANE / SITE Galleries – Lad Lane (off Baggot Street), Dublin 2. Curated by Fionnuala Mahon and Sharon Murphy. It opens Friday the 4th of December and continues to the 20th of December 2009.
