Kenneth Lambert
Kenneth Lambert would say at this stage in his career the greatest influence in his work would be American and French graphic novelists. The reason he refers to this is that he is influenced by the work of artists that seem to tell a story. He would say that even a greater influence would be cinema, in particular the periods of the thirties and forties in both American and British film and the golden age of American cinema in the seventies. It is the human element in these movies of this period, of the striped down sets and austere surroundings where the weight and force lies in the script and the trials of the human condition.
