Victoria Macarthur
Victoria Macarthur is currently a PhD student focused on the technical modeling of cognitive thoughts and individual differences. Both her research and artistic influences stem from an ongoing attempt to understand and represent thought. As a photographer she draws from the digital to try and give the viewer a hint as to her perspective beyond the static scene.
In this exhibition she will showcase a series of equine prints, Shiver. A sample of her work is available at flavorso.me and she regularly blogs on VictoriaMacarthur.com.
16.4.1 is a mixed media exhibition by 16 artists engaged in a situation specific collective at PLANE / SITE Galleries – Lad Lane (off Baggot Street), Dublin 2. Curated by Fionnuala Mahon and Sharon Murphy. It opens Friday the 4th of December and continues to the 20th of December 2009.
